Once the doctor approves you for medical cannabis, we will send you your Patient Certification Form. As of March 20th, 2023, patients will no longer need to register with the state and pay a fee. The New York Medical cannabis program is not sending out physical New York State ID cards.
In lieu of this, you will receive a digital copy of your Patient Certification Form with your patient ID number (this will look like a barcode).
