Medical Card Renewal in Norman, Oklahoma
Book now via PrestoDoctor
Oklahoma adult licenses last up to two years, not one. To renew, Norman patients need a new signed Physician Recommendation Form and must pay OMMA’s fee again ($104.30, or $22.50 reduced). PrestoDoctor renewals are $79, and you pay only if approved.
When to start
Start before your license expires so OMMA has time to process (it processes patient applications within 14 business days).
Renewal steps
- Book an online visit with an OMMA-registered physician.
- Get your signed recommendation.
- Submit renewal in the OMMA MedPortal with ID, proof of residency, and photo.
- Use your approval email as ID at dispensaries until the card arrives.
Local note
Norman is home to the University of Oklahoma. For students, residency (not school enrollment) decides eligibility: an adult license requires proof of Oklahoma residency, and non-residents can only get the 30-day out-of-state license with a license from their home state.
Fees
OMMA charges $100 plus a $4.30 card processing fee ($104.30), or $20 plus $2.50 ($22.50) with proof of Medicaid (SoonerSelect), Medicare, or 100% disabled veteran status. The fee is nonrefundable.
